The Heritage football team piled up nearly 400 yards of offense in Saturday's game against Lovejoy, but the Coyotes came up short on the scoreboard.

Heritage lost to Lovejoy 42-26.

Heritage quarterback Jason Faulkenberry threw for 237 yards and a touchdown, and teammate Cameron Rose rushed for 114 yards and two touchdowns.

Heritage next plays against Woodrow Wilson on Thursday (Sept. 6) at Franklin Stadium in Dallas.
