The Heritage football team fell behind by a touchdown less than a minute into Friday's game, but the Coyotes' response was a winning one at FISD Memorial Stadium.
Quarterback Easton Swetnam threw four touchdown passes, including three to Kyle Bradford, as Heritage pulled away from Woodrow Wilson 43-28 to pick up its first win of the season.

Cameron Rose rushed for 123 yards for the Coyotes, and the Heritage defense played big. In the second half, the Heritage defense forced a punt, stopped a Woodrow Wilson drive on a fourth down, recovered a fumble and intercepted a pass.
Heritage (1-1) next plays on the road at Red Oak on Friday (Sept. 13).
